Alissa Vorous, AuD

Dr. Alissa Vorous became interested in audiology after working with her professor to help a little boy hear better after a bicycle accident. She received her Bachelor of Science from The Florida State University in 2005 and her Doctor of Audiology from Nova Southeastern University at Ft. Lauderdale in 2009.

Dr. Vorous specializes in advanced hearing technologies, Bluetooth™ assistive devices and tinnitus therapies. She is a member of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association and is licensed by the state of Texas. She is certified to fit and service Neuromonics tinnitus devices. In May 2018, Dr. Vorous was voted the number one provider of hearing aid services by Katy Magazine.

In her spare time, Dr. Vorous enjoys cooking with her husband, baking cookies with her daughter, spending time outdoors and cheering for her FSU Seminoles.
