Martine Fenstermacher, AuD

Martine Fenstermacher AuD

As a youth, Dr. Martine Fenstermacher learned to love music through many years of playing the clarinet.  In her undergraduate study, she had her first opportunity to hear a simulation of how music sounded to someone with a significant hearing loss. That was a turning point for Dr. Fenstermacher, as she developed a commitment to help those with hearing impairment experience music and the other priceless sounds of life.

Dr. Fenstermacher earned her Bachelor of Science in speech, language and hearing science from Purdue University, followed by her Doctor of Audiology from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. She maintains the Certificate of Clinical Competence through the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (CCC-A) and is a fellow of the American Academy of Audiology (F-AAA). Additionally, she obtained the Certificate Holder-Audiology Preceptor (CH-AP) certification through the American Board of Audiology. Outside of work, Dr. Fenstermacher enjoys spending time with her husband and two cats, Roxie and Pippa.

Dr. Fenstermacher sees patients at our Kingwood office.
